They met us at the airport and cars were waiting in the adjacent parking lot. Mala and her team were very efficient. The cars were extremely nice. Upon departure, they met us at the departure area at the previous agreed upon time. Everything was very quick I would definitely recommend to all. Prices were also very good!

We have been travelling to SXM three or four times a year since 2023. Based on a recommendation from a friend we tried renting from H&L Car Rentals. We now rent exclusively with them as do all of our guests when they come to visit. They are VERY friendly, courteous and extremely accommodating with great prices! The service that they offer is second to none. They are waiting for you when you arrive with your vehicle on site. No waiting or shuttle buses to take to an offsite location to pickup your vehicle. Drop-off is the easiest, with quick vehicle inspection in the departure lane at the airport! Hand over the keys and you’re on your way! Absolutely love their service!

I had a seamless and exceptional experience with H&L rentals. They had the most affordable vehicle available (that I could find after hours of searching) that would accommodate my group of 8. I booked an 8 seater Kia Carnival for 6 days for 700 dollars, and the rep reached out to me the very next day confirming availability. She provided all details, took my flight info, and let me know that I could also send my license early so they could have the paper work ready upon arrival! I was greeted as soon as I set foot out of the airport, paid and signed on a tablet, did a quick inspection of the vehicle, and I was on my way. The car was spacious, clean, cool, and equipped with CarPlay and the tech we desired. There was no required cleaning upon return. For drop off, we met with the owner at the airport departure, she inspected the vehicle and determined we’d get our deposit back ($450 on credit card), and hopped on our flight. If you’re on the fence about driving in St. Martin, book the car. It made our experience much more enjoyable than waiting and paying for taxis which I’ve done on the island in the past. Absolutely seamless experience from start to finish! Booking a car with Handl Car Rental was incredibly easy and straightforward. The entire process was seamless. What really set them apart was the outstanding customer service. Jay picked us up right at the airport and walked us directly to the parking lot where our car was waiting for us. When it was time to head home, they were already waiting at the drop-off zone, making the return completely stress-free. We rented a fantastic, spacious SUV that fit 5 people perfectly and comfortably. I highly recommend Handl Car Rental if you want a reliable, hassle-free rental experience.
